At Maple Grove Farm, we like to do things the old-fashioned way. This can sometimes mean strapping on snowshoes and carrying maple sap buckets through the woods. Other times, it could mean choosing hand tools over electric or fuel-powered ones - intentionally too if you can imagine. Sometimes it can even mean turning to the past to solve present-day challenges. As fourth-generation maple syrup artisans, we have a deep understanding and profound appreciation for the traditional elements that shape our life on the farm. Preserving tradition is kind of our thing. If you share our affinity for living in harmony with the land, enjoying fresh, organic food, camping beneath the stars, the art of bushcraft, and the liberating joy of simply being in the great outdoors, connect with us on social media. the process

This is the entire end-to-end process of making artisanal maple syrup the good old-fashioned way, using nothing but taps, buckets, pans and a roaring fire in the stove. No tubes, no fancy evaporator and no talking. This video is quite simply the raw experience of making maple syrup our way, captured from various angles along with the background ambiance of the cabin. The only thing missing is that sweet, unmistakable smell that only being there can offer.
